Privacy Policy

Hi, thanks for taking the time to read the boring legal stuff!

Firstly, I want you to know that I take your privacy very seriously, and I always take steps to ensure I am following all rules and regulations (including the new GDPR rules) relating to how I use and store your data.

The main reason I collect your data on my blog is so that I can share any information or deals that you may be interested in. These include products and services that I use and love, updates on posts, and occasionally may include a product I am promoting for my business or someone else’s that I trust.  I will never sell your data on to third parties. If you have signed up to my newsletter, I will store your data safely until you unsubscribe, or tell me that you no longer wish to hear from me.

My email provider uses a double opt-in system that gives you the option to sign up and then confirm that you do want to receive emails from me. I do try to ensure that I obtain clear consent from you before collecting any data.

Any data will be removed from my site if you inform me you no longer want it to be stored. When you comment on a post, please be aware, you do not need to include your real information, and if you do, this information will not be used to send you email communications.

Should a data breach occur, I will all users know of it, as soon as I am made aware of it myself. But rest assured, I do take measures to protect against this, using encryption, two-step authentication for all user data and anti-virus software to prevent hacks on my blog.

Please be aware that I use Google for analytics purposes, this is so that I can monitor which aspects of my blog my readers enjoy. Google may access general information about you (such as geographical location, sex, age)

My site uses cookies to collect your information. You do not have to accept cookies, but be aware that it may affect your use of the site.

Please be aware that I am not a lawyer and have used information found on the internet to update my privacy policy. The platform that I use is WordPress, and you can be assured that they are GDPR compliant.

I think that’s everything!

If you have any questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to contact me at upbeatvegan@gmail .com and I will get back to you ASAP

Thanks again!
